Welcome to Bulldog Fisheries, a family-run fishery set within the beautiful Yeo Valley, just outside Barnstaple in North Devon.

Established in 1989, Bulldog Fish Farm has spent decades building a respected reputation for rearing and supplying high-quality Rainbow and Brown Trout to lakes and reservoirs across the UK. Over the years, selected fish from our farm have even held stock records in Wales, England, and Scotland.

Today, Bulldog Fisheries has evolved into much more than a traditional fish farm. Combining decades of fishery knowledge with a passion for angling, nature, and great hospitality, we now proudly offer both Fly Fishing and Specimen Carp Fishing in a peaceful countryside setting designed for anglers to truly enjoy the experience.

Our Fly Lake was expanded in 2023, doubling in size and becoming home to some of the hardest-fighting trout the UK has to offer, while our purpose-built 2.5-acre Carp Lake has quickly earned a reputation as one of Devon’s exciting up-and-coming carp venues, with multiple carp now exceeding 30 lb.
