Trout fishing
Our working farm has over the years built a great reputation for providing rainbow trout, a selection of which have held the stock record in Wales over a nine-year period as well as in England and Scotland for a time. We continue to rear trout for supply, however we now also carefully stock our own lake with our much coveted, hard-fighting rainbow trout, to enable fly fishing on site.
Our lake can host up to eight anglers at a time and can be booked for groups or corporate events. Food can be available via prior arrangement and includes our selection of burgers, sausages or smoked produce.
Opening times:
We are open all year, 7 days a week, dawn until dusk, except Christmas day – all by prior arrangement.

For five years we have sold our smoked range and farm produce at many local markets around North Devon, Totness and Plymouth. Recently we have added facilities in the form of a gas griddle, which has enabled us to produce quality hotdogs and burgers at shows and events for people who want freshly cooked food.
We are available to cater for parties, weddings and events as we now have hog roasting oven, this can be used to roast a whole pig or joints of meat depending on your events requirements. Our oven can also cook mouth-watering roasties and stuffings, whilst other extras such as coleslaw or apple sauce also available! Price on request.

Where are we this month?
Come and find us at local markets all over North Devon. There will be a variety of sausages, burgers and smoked produce available to buy or served on our grill. We also will have our selection of venison produce including joints, steaks and diced meat available to buy.
